"Neves has come out of nowhere to be voted the Brazilian Player of the Season last campaign. Not blessed with great pace, Thiago Neves more than makes up for it with an instinctive passing skill, and a handy eye for goal, thanks to a blistering shot. Several Spanish sides are thought to be looking at Thiago Neves, whilst FC Porto are also believed to be considering him as the ideal candidate to replace the departing Ricardo Quaresma. He already has one Brazilian cap and could go onto win a lot more. "
